McDonald’s strengthens its commitment to Transparency with its Open Doors program
The company is the only one in the sector that proactively invites its customers to tour its kitchens and see how the world’s most iconic burgers are prepared.
September 2025 – During Information Transparency Month, McDonald’s once again highlights one of its most emblematic initiatives: Open Doors, the exclusive program that for years has invited customers to tour the kitchens of its restaurants and witness firsthand how the menu that millions of people choose every day is prepared.
“At McDonald’s, we believe that trust is built through actions. That’s why we are the only ones in the industry to open our kitchens proactively and permanently, so that everyone can see the care and dedication we put into every ingredient and process of our menu,” said David Grinberg, Vice President of Corporate Communications at Arcos Dorados. Among the aspects most highlighted by customers who took the tour are:
- That the chicken in Chicken McNuggets is 100% breast meat.
- That the beef in the hamburgers is 100% top-quality beef.
- That the French fries are made from real potatoes and are cooked for just the right time, so they are always crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
